EET 2018 training program in Mexico City successfully completed
June 22, 2018 - GGNI completed 2018 Mexico EET training program in Mexico City
GGNI and company completed the 2018 edition of the 1-week EET training program in Mexico. The event took place at the Secretaria de Energia (SENER) in Mexico City. In his opening address Secretary of Energy, Mr. Pedro Joaquin Coldwell, stressed the importance of the EET program for the cooperation between Mexico and the Netherlands for the sustainability of the liberalised Mexican energy market.
Executives from private enterprises like Green Momentum, Flore-Hort Invernaderos, Stougaard Consutlants, Saam Smit Towage, National Autonimous University of Mexico (UNAM), Asinc de Mexico and Thermion, as well as from state-controlled organisations CENAGAS, CFE, PEMEX, P.M.I. and SENER, participate in the 2018 EET Program.
The training program in Mexico City covered subjects like Business in an international setting and in the Netherlands, Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Practices in Health, Safety and Environmental management.
Representatives of branch offices of Dutch companies in Mexico, such as Boskalis, iPS, Shell, TriGen Energy, Van Oort and Vopak contributed to the program.
The Energy Executives Training (EET) Program is a strategic program of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to encourage the cooperation between the Mexican and Dutch energy sector. The program consists of a training program in Mexico, a training program in the Netherlands followed by an intern or business exposure program with Dutch entrepreneurs in the Netherlands.
The program is executed by Netherlands Enterprise Agency and operated by a consortium consisting of GGNI, Energy Delta Institute (EDI) and Marstrat.
